Family with children needs careful choice
So we were greeted with some pretty decent holiday decorations which set a nice mood, and the fridge in the room was a sweet addition since keeping stuff cold matters a lot with kids. Plus, I actually enjoyed the breakfast spread that had those little touches like folded napkins and that coffee that wasn't bad for hotel coffee.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but it kinda worked out in the end.

great spot for exploring parks and dining options
During my recent stay, I loved how close I was to the amazing McLean County Museum of History, which is perfect for a quick cultural stop, and I enjoyed grabbing a bite at the nearby Chili's Grill & Bar after a long day of walking around. the comfortable room setup made it even more appealing for a single traveler like me. The only downside was the outdated feel in some areas of the hotel, but overall it was a pleasant experience.

Is it hype or the real deal?
Stunning bathroom renovations and a friendly staff made my stay enjoyable, along with a delightful breakfast selection.
Nevertheless, the hotel shows significant signs of wear and tear, including malfunctioning elevators and outdated decor, which detracted from the experience.

I loved how the hotel had these fun lion statues near the entrance and a cool fountain out front! The indoor swimming pool was super relaxing and helped me unwind after a long day. Just a heads up, the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, but it didn’t really spoil the overall experience. 😊

Rooms were clean and spacious. Its location made accessing nearby restaurants easy. The breakfast was a standout, featuring waffles and eggs. However, there were some drawbacks, such as a shower without a door leading to water spillage, thin walls causing noise issues from adjacent rooms, and a hot tub that was not well maintained.
